A meeting of the Management Committee of the Football League was held at the Tavistock Hotel, London, yesterday. Mr. John James Bentley in the chair.

For the English League v. Scottish League match, at Glasgow, on Saturday next, the following English team was chosen: –
Harry Linacre (Nottingham Forest) (goal), Howard Spencer (Aston Villa), Herbert Burgess (Manchester City) (backs), Sam Wolstenholme (Blackburn Rovers), Charlie Roberts (Manchester United), Andy Leake (Aston Villa) (half backs), David Stokes (Bolton Wanderers), Steve Bloomer (Derby County) (right wing), Jack Parkinson (Liverpool) (centre), Joe Bache (Aston Villa), and Harold Hardman (Everton) (left wing); C.olin Veitch (Newcastle United) (reserve).
Referee: Mr. Risbotham, Irish League.
