At the annual meeting of the Football Association on May 29 Mr. Rinder will move on behalf of Aston Villa, a resolution to the effect that all references to monetary transactions between clubs and players be deleted from the rules of the Association. This will be seconded by Manchester City. The Liverpool Club will propose that the maximum wage be retained, but that clubs be allowed to pay bonuses for wins and drawn games. Should their resolution not be carried, Aston Villa will give that of Liverpool cordial support.
