Liverpool awaits the Championship Shield

The meeting of the Football League Management Committee at Liverpool on Friday will be unusually important. The occasion will be seized to present the Liverpool Club with the Championship Shield of the Second Division; while Mr. T.H. Sidney, of Wolverhampton, will be recipient of an illuminated address from the clubs of the League, and a magnificent album from the committee, in recognition of his many years’ service as vice-president.
