Terms agreed with William Houlding

Friday, January 19 – 1906
The Liverpool club have become owners of the Anfield-road ground, having concluded negotiations with the owner, Sir William Houlding, yesterday. “Anfield” was opened about twenty years ago, and the new owners hope, by the beginning of next season, to  have an enclosure worthy of the new club. Great alterations are in prospect. (Manchester Courier, 20-01-1906)
