Where Percy Saul learned his play

Gainsborough Trinity intend making a bid for a higher place in the Second Division, and intend strengthening both Second Division and Midland League teams. Public dissatisfaction with the season’s results have affected the gates.

Of the past season’s players only George Smith and Fred Morley (forwards) have been retained, with Charles Betts (backs) and James Bagshaw (goal). It was chiefly owing to Smith and Morley that the Trinity escaped the last three. Percy Saul, who joins Liverpool, learned his play with the Trinity, to whom Liverpool pay transfer.
