Anfield: Liverpool F.C. football ground

December 22, 1906
The Liverpool club, which came into being in the early nineties, occupies the extensive
ground at Anfield Road, which up to 1892 was the home of the Everton club. Since then the ground has been constantly improved and extended, and to still further extend its present enormous capacity the directors are having constructed at one end of the field a huge embankment, with no fewer than a hundred terraces.
