Grimsby Town have signed on Robert Blanthorne, centre forward, of Liverpool. He is 23 years of age, and stands 6ft. 1in., and scales 13st. Blanthorne leaves Liverpool to-day, and will play for Grimsby against Blackpool at Blundell Park to-morrow.
Blanthorne came from a junior team in Birkenhead to Liverpool three seasons ago, and has played with the reserves with much success. He is a tall, young player, who is likely to do good for Grimsby.
