The monthly meeting of the Management Committee of the Football League was held at the Midland Hotel, Manchester, Mr. John James Bentley presiding. Liverpool and Manchester United were left to mutually fix a date for replaying the match which the fog prevented from being decided on Saturday. (Manchester Courier: January 7, 1908)
