John James Ramsay stepping up

Mr. John James Ramsay, who is in charge in Mr. Tom Watson’s absence, reports that the men are well at Blackpool, but yesterday, unfortunately, the weather was something like the Liverpool sample, and prevented the players going out. Derby County are Liverpool’s rival on Saturday and their neighbours during the week, the directors having chosen the Lancashire resort as the rendezvous for the week.
