The death of Frank Levick

February 1, 1908
Frank Levick, one of Sheffield United’s best forwards, died after a short illness on Saturday. He was only just recovering from a fractured collar bone sustained during the match between the United and Newcastle United, when he was attacked with pneumonia, with fatal effects.

Born at Eckington 25 years ago, Levick joined Sheffield United from Rotherham Town at the beginning of the present season.
