Maurice Parry was one of Liverpool’s few representatives who succeeded in rising to the occasion at Newcastle; not only in his endeavours to cope with a clever and tricky wing, but also in battling with the elements. It was Maurice at his best. By the way we note Parry is selected as centre half for Wales in her coming International. This is a position he has once or twice filled for Liverpool.
