John Cox show off another talent

Beautiful weather was again experience in the annual Bowling sweepstake tournament at Blackpool. The games are 21 up, the competition being handicapped from scratch to four start, the £100 being added to the five shillings entrance fee, the actual winner also receiving a silver cup besides the first prize. Early on a couple of close games was witnessed. The Liverpool footballer, John Cox, played a sensational game with J. Partington , as the former was leading 19 to 15, when the Horwich man got possession of the jack and ran out a winner by two, 21-19.
