James Bradley (of Liverpool) has not gone full speed ahead in his early games; nor is this to be wondered at, for he has really not been fit to take the field in consequence of rheumatic visitation just above the knee. At the best of times the ex-Potter doesn’t smile, so that readers may picture his recent serious expression. But look at the rain we have had! Can anyone wonder at rheumatism stepping in?
