Kenny Davenport, an old Bolton Wanderers’ player, one of the best known footballers in England, died on Sunday at the Jolly Drummer Inn, Bolton, in his 47th year.

In the eighties he, with James Brogan, formed one of the most famous right wing pairs in the kingdom. He twice played for England in international games, against Wales at Burnley and Ireland at Blackburn.
