At a meeting of the Lancashire Football Association at Blackburn last night, the balance-sheet was adopted, showing total income £1,394, and a balance of £815 on the year’s working.
Out of £787 received from semi-final and final cup-ties, Manchester City was allotted £108, Blackburn Rovers £217, Everton £99, and Liverpool £208.
The appeals committee reported that Burnley had appealed against the decision of the Lancashire Combination ordering it to pay Accrington Stanley £40 compensation for failing to play a match on a Saturday as arranged.
The appeal was rejected.
