The Irish Association mean to improve football in that country. They recommend the eight League clubs to appoint a coach. Already two Belfast clubs have done so.
James Blessington, an old Glasgow Celtic favourite, takes charge of Cliftonville, and Donald Sloan, the Liverpool goalkeeper of last season, is fixed up by the Distillery.
