The 18th annual report of the Middlesbrough Football and Athletic Company, Limited, states that the past year’s working shows a profit of £358, against a loss of £1,675 last year. The takings at the gates were £1,052 last year. On the other hand, the wages show a decrease of £814. During the past year debentures, bonuses, &c., appearing in the 1909 accounts amounting to £205 have been paid off.
The League team played 38 matches, won 11, lost 18, tied 9; goals for 56, against 73.
The following players are engaged for next season: –
Tim Williamson, Harry Boardman, Albert Groves, Ted Verrill, Billy Barker, Robert Young, Fred Pentland, Sam Cail, Tommy Dixon, Love Jones, George Burton, and George Elliott.
