Secretary Aitken, Dumbarton Football Club, intimates this forenoon that he made two important captures. He has signed Andrew Potter, of Ayr Parkhouse, and Herbert Macpherson, of Inverness and Partick Thistle.
Potter, who hails from Baillieston, has played for several seasons with Parkhouse. He will take Hill’s place at outside left to-morrow against Dykeland in the third Qualifying Cup tie, while Macpherson, of Inverness, whom Liverpool were anxious for, will play at inside right.
