Liverpool’s serious position

Tuesday, December 13 – 1910
Liverpool’s position is very serious indeed, and with the advance of the season something must be done if the Reds are to get away from the danger zone. The Livers did deserve to be beaten on Saturday, but nevertheless the fact remains that they are in a bad way.

Eleven points for 16 matches won’t do. Next Saturday the Anfielders are at home to Sheffield United, and it is to be hoped that some amends will be made. Sam Hardy is reported to be progressing favourably.
