Charles Hewitt: an improved forward

December 17, 1910
There is another ex-Liverpool player doing good service for the Crystal Palace team. I refer to Charles Hewitt, who is said to be playing a very fine forward game, and the Southerners regret that he is not eligible to compete, he having previously played in an English Cup-tie this season. Hewitt, a relation of Joe Hewitt, was rather disappointing when at Anfield, and he never really fell into the “Reds” style. He was transferred to West Bromwich Albion two or three seasons ago.
