Macdonald in for Uren

Friday, December 30 – 1910
The Liverpool team to oppose Bradford City will be the same as that which defeated Everton, except that Macdonald returns to the outside left berth to the exclusion of Uren.

Macdonald has not been seen out in the League team since October 8. He has been playing for the Reserves, but I understand an injury to his foot has, to a large extent, accounted for his moderate form.

At his best Macdonald is a good player, and if he will only discard the habit of fiddling about with the ball in the corner I am sure he will be successful. It is not advantageous to stick to the ball longer than is absolutely necessary.

The team will be constituted as follows: – Hardy; Longworth and Crawford; Robinson, Harrop, and McConnell; Goddard, Stewart, Parkinson, Bowyer, and Macdonald.
