Mr. Watson tells me that the party leave Lime-street this evening by the 6 o’clock train, and the players are to visit a local theatre.
After the Bradford match the men will take the 5.55 train to Darlington, where they are to spend the week-end, the King’s Head being the headquarters chosen.
They travel on to Sunderland on Monday morning in good time for the match against Sunderland. Brough and Uren accompany the team as reserves, and it is possible that one or both of these players may be called on to do duty against the Wearsiders.
