Head-injury for Ephraim Longworth

Ephraim Longworth, the Liverpool right back, who was accidentally kicked on the head in the Liverpool – Rovers’ match at Anfield on Saturday, sustained serious injury to his head. He bled so profusely when he went off the field that he had to receive medical attention. He sustained a cit six inches in length, and had to have about ten stitches put in the wound. He will not be able to assist Liverpool in next Saturday’s Cup tie.
