Serious illness of Mr. William McGregor

Footballers the world over will learn with the greatest regret of the serious illness of Mr. William McGregor, the veteran football legislator, at whose instigation the English League was founded.
So ill is he that it was found impossible to move him to a nursing home for the operation deemed necessary, and it was decided to perform this at his own home, and this was done yesterday. Mr. McGregor coming through the ordeal as well as was expected.

For some months Mr. McGregor has been in indifferent health, but found himself unable to keep away from his many friends.
