Saturday, April 29 – 1911
This is a snapshot of the Spion Kop for the last match of the season 1910/11. Liverpool beat Aston Villa at Anfield this day. The picture, I am sorry about the poor newspaper quality, is taken from the old Kemlyn Road stand towards the Spion Kop. Even though the picture quality is poor I believe it clearly give an impression on what match day was like at Anfield 100 years ago.
