Kenneth Campbell transferred to Liverpool

May 9, 1911
This morning comes the confirmation of the signing on, and there is not a doubt that Liverpool have kept up their remarkable record for reasonable priced class goalkeepers and signed Kenneth Campbell from Cambuslang Rangers.

The goalkeepers signed for Anfield service have rarely been costly. The newcomer has five badges this season for amateur international matches, and he is recognised over the boarder as a distinctly clever young goalkeeper. He played in all the junior international matches this season, and as late as Saturday last was keeping goal for his club in brilliant fashion.

Kenneth Campbell will take the place of Beeby, and the latter will find his way to Hyde Road, where Manchester City have need of his services.
