Liverpool are holding a third practice game this evening at Anfield, and chief interest will be centred in the appearance of a brother of the ex-Everton goalkeeper – William Scott – in goal. I have it from a reliable source (writes “Junins”) that he is a most capable custodian.
Last Wednesday I saw the two understudies to Campbell perform, and unless the Anfielders secure a better man than either of the pair to take charge of their Reserves’ goal, they are likely to meet with frequent failures. Frew was superior to Malone, but it was clear that he lacked experience.

** The brother of William Scott was of course, Elisha Scott.
