The following team was chosen last night to represent Ireland against Wales at Grosvenor Park, Belfast, on January 18: –
William Scott (Leeds City); Sam Burnison (Distillery), captain, and Patrick McCann (Glentoran); Val Harris (Everton), Bill McConnell (South Shields), and Harry Hampton (Bradford City); John Houston (Linfield), William Lacey (Liverpool), Johnny McDonnell (Bohemians), Jack McCandles (Bradford Park Avenue), and Frank Thompson (Bradford City).
