Mrs. Metcalf dropped her purse

February 24, 1913
Arthur Metcalf, the Liverpool forward, had a bit of misfortune last night. He and his wife were at a ball in Oakfield Road, when his wife dropped a purse in which was money and a season ticket. The gentleman who picked up the purse will be rewarded if he returns it to the footballer.
