Liverpool F.C. have settled with a Scottish club for the transfer of R. Macdougall, a player who is reputed to be one of the best men that ever left the South of Scotland.
So far as his physique is concerned, and his reputation for scoring from the centre forward position, he should be all right. His club was the St Cuthbert’s Wanderers, Dumfriesshire, and on Saturday last they won the Potts Cup semi-final by the two goals scored by Macdougall.
He was originally an outside right, but this season has kept to the centre forward position. His first game will be on Saturday, at Anfield, against Preston North End Reserves.
