South Liverpool have made a wise move in getting hold of a smart and young player, who has “first-time” as his motto. He is a player who has been sought by other clubs and one of the Liverpool clubs fancied him. His name is Walter Price, and his club has been Ellesmere Port St Mary’s.
He scored three goals for them on Saturday in the heavy going, and from the unusual osition – to him – of inside left. Generally hi figures at outside left, where he shows speed, courage, and strong shots.
He is a first time believer, and it is though that South Liverpool have made a “find.” He is but twenty years old, stands 5ft. 7in., and weighs 10st. 8lb.
