The principal attraction locally tomorrow is South Liverpool’s return fixture with Tranmere Rovers at Dingle Park; kick-off at 3.30.
A great crowd is expected to witness the local derby. May the best team win.
Every effort is being made to deal with a record crowd; extra turnstiles have been installed in Dingle-lane.
The Dingle Prize Band will from two o’clock render music to the waiting crowd. The South’s team will be: – Bradshaw; Hewitt and Balmer; Williams, Carlisle, and Povey; Speakman, Pugh, Bennett, Horrocks, and Price.
The score at the Palace will be exhibited on the board at least every quarter of an hour.
