Ralph Holden, the Liverpool Reserve half back, has signed for Tranmere Rovers. Holden is a Blundellsands youth, and his first professional club was St. Helens Recs. He joined Liverpool at the beginning of the 1910-11 season, and he occasionally figured in the senior eleven. Holden stands 5ft. 7in. and scales about ten and a half stone. By the way at the present time the Rovers’ ground, Prenton Park, is undergoing improvements.
