The new Rotherham Town Club has now received the official sanction of the Football Association, on the understanding that none of the directors of the old club take an active part in the working of the new one. Several good captures have been made during the week, including A. Revill, right full back, and G. Sharpe, outside left, both from Chesterfield Town; W. Rippon, forward, from Grimsby; and H. Thompson, a centre forward, late of Bristol Rovers and Goole.
