Professional football takes off in Belgium


Wednesday July 15 – 1914
In Belgium a professional Association team, under the name of the Garden City F.C., has been formed. As coach and captain the club has the Belgian right winger, Max Tobias. Many good players have been signed. It is also understood that a professional club will be organised in Brussels.
English footballers have a new opening in their profession. Who will make the first move?
