Frank Buckley joins the Footballers’ Battalion


Friday, December 11 – 1914
F. Buckley, the Bradford City half-back, has offered his services to the Association for the Footballers’ Battalion. Buckley was a sergeant-instructor in the 2nd battalion King’s (Liverpool) Regiment for three years. He comes of a military family, for his father was a sergeant-major.
