The death is announced, to-day, of Mr. Harry Oldfield Cooper, secretary of the Liverpool General Brokers’ Association, Limited. He had been in different health for some months. Mr. Cooper was widely known in commercial circles in Liverpool.

He had received a business training in well-known Liverpool offices in the cotton and general produce trades, and some years later in San Francisco in the service of the Central Pacific Railroad Company.

On his return to this city he joined his father in the district managership of the Economic Life Assurance Society, and ultimately succeeded his father as secretary of the General Brokers’ Association.
