Season preview 1915-16: Brentford F.C. (West London Observer)

A new player, Private F.C. Keenor, of the Footballers Battalion has definitely promised to regularly assist Brentford in the coming season, until his military duties call him away. Keenor was last season one of the mainstays of the Cardiff City Southern League team, for whom he regularly appeared at centre half, and his presence in the Brentford team will materially strengthen the side.

The opening match will be against West Ham United at Griffin Park, on September 4, when the Brentford team will be selected from the following who are all expected to be available: – Ted Price, Ephraim “Dusty” Rhodes, George Curtis, Bertie Rosier, Charles Allwright, Private Fred Keenor, Private Alf Amos, M. Donaghy, Private Jack Curtis, Henry White, Fred Price, Walter Chalk, William Steer, and Charles Hibbert.
