An interesting wedding took place at the Registry Office, George-street West, on Saturday morning, the bridegroom being Private Arthur Wileman, the well-known Luton Town footballer.
The bride was Miss Blanche Evelyn Turner, youngest daughter of Mr. and Mr. Henry Turner, Somerset, who wore a tasteful dress of white voile, with hat to match.
The party consisted of the bride and bridegroom, Mr. and Mrs. Bernt Arnold, of 44, Kenilworth-road, Luton, with whose family the bride has been connected for a considerable time, and little Miss Kathleen Arnold.
The bridegroom, who is a member of the Footballers’ Battalion, was in uniform, and had a few days leave.
