Another commission engaged on Match Fixing case

October 15, 1915
The inquiries into Liverpool-Manchester United match, played last Easter, seem to be never-ending.
The score was 2-0 for Manchester, and after the League commission has taken and filtered evidence the Football Association have decided to inquire into the evidence.

The League and F.A. combined this afternoon and had a joint conference. Messrs. John Charles Clegg, D.B. Woolfall, Charles Crump, H. Keys, John Lewis, and Charles Sutcliffe were present, with the secretaries of the F.A. and League.

The players present were Bobby Beale, Enoch “Knocker” West, and Wilf Woodcock, of Manchester United, and Harry Lowe, the former Liverpool captain.
