Billy Hogg, late of Sunderland, Glasgow Rangers and Dundee, is the most sought-after player in the North-East district of England. Practically all the clubs in the North-Eastern League have been endeavouring to induce him to play for them, but without success. He has absolutely declined to play for any club, and the only games he will take part in are those of a charitable nature.
Hogg is now settled down at Heaton (Newcastle), and following his trade as a fitter, being at present engaged in the making of munitions work.
