The following team has been chosen to play Rochdale at Spotland: – Elisha Scott, Ephraim Longworth, James Middlehurst, Norman Bradley, Arthur Goddard, Walter Wandsworth, Ernest Pinkney, Wilfred Watson, Fred Pagnam, William Banks, Donald Mackinlay.

Thus the team that ran Everton to a goal will face a strong Liverpool side. Wadsworth was chosen last week for the Stockport game, but was unable to play, Ted Winn taking his place. The reserves for Saturday are Ted Winn, Arthur Metcalf, and Sam Speakman.

Rochdale will be at full strength. Tully, who is engaged on munitions, will be able to play, and the team will be: – Arthur Causer, Jack Barton, Daniel Crossan, Jim Tully, James Kay, Jack Yarwood, Archie Rawlings, James Brannick, Fred Heap, Ernest Hawksworth, Albert Smith. Reserves: Arthur Walker and Alfred Caldwell.
