South Liverpool face hefty lot

February 18, 1916
Tomorrow Glossop, the erstwhile Second League club, visit Dingle Park (3.30), and those who saw their team on the last occasion will remember what a hefty lot they were.

Whatever their physique may be, the South are clever enough to make them go the whole way, and every match at Dingle this season has been well fought.

Team from Moore, Welding, Jack Page, Billy Jenkinson, Smith, Carlisle, Williams, Hall, Cook, Tom Page, Rigsby, Parr, Walter Price, and Ritchie.

It has been most gratifying of late to observe both increased attendances and the exhilarating enthusiasm shown by the crowd. It has a splendid effect on both players and officials alike.
