The Reverend and the Archdeacon’s daughter


February 22, 1916
Rev. W.C. Jordan, vicar of St. Mary’s Widnes, who formerly played for West Bromwich, Everton, and the Liverpool, was married at St. Nicholas’s Church, Blundellsands, today to Miss Madden, only daughter of the late archdeacon of Liverpool.

** William Charles Jordan arrived at Anfield in 1903 from Langley St. Michael’s and stayed on to November 6, 1905, when he was transferred to West Bromwich Albion. He never played any official matches and can only be found playing for the reserves, 1903/04, 1904/05 and 1905/06.
