For the second week in succession Liverpool go to Manchester. Last week they did well to draw at Hyde-road, and they are hopeful that their visit to Old Trafford will yield one or more points, because United are at sixes and sevens, and have been for some time.
Waine’s appearance at outside right will give Manchester people interest, and, judging from the following team, I have a sneaking regard for Liverpool’s chances: –
Ted Taylor, Ephraim Longworth, James Middlehurst, John Bamber, Walter Wadsworth, Donald Mackinlay, Robert Waine, Wilfred Watson, Fred Pagnam, William Banks, Tommy Cunliffe.
