Everything promises splendidly for the meeting of our two leading club tomorrow. As the teams were given in their due formation yesterday there is no need to repeat them, the only feature being the return of Fred Pagnam to the Liverpool side, and the presence of the Everton scorer Private James Williamson.
Both are at full strength, and we are sure to witness sparkling contest. The individual characteristics of players are sufficiently well known, and with such a spirit of clean sportsmanship in evidence as has been such an outstanding feature of the previous meetings, the referee’s task should be a congenial one. I shall still adhere to my anticipation of yesterday’s that the struggle will end with honours even.
