Everton and Liverpool in charity match


May 3, 1916
The directors of Everton and Liverpool Football Clubs have decided that the gross receipts on Saturday next will be handed over to the Lord Mayor’s Roll of Honour Fund, and that the expenses connected with the match will be defrayed by the two clubs in equal shares.
