Sunderland footballer and Jarrow Tribunal

Appeals by the Palmer Shipbuilding Co for eight unbadged workmen, one being George Holley, the Sunderland footballer, were considered by the Jarrow Tribunal last night. Holley’s application was adjourned for 14 days to enable the tribunal to ascertain if a shipyard plater was his usual occupation.
