The annual meeting was held last night, at their registered offices, of the Huddersfield Town Association Football Club (Limited). Mr. W.L. Hardcastle (chairman of directors) presiding.
The report and balance-sheet shows that, apart from £41 12s. 5d. subscribed to local charities, and £25 18s. 5d. to the National War Fund, the total receipts had amounted to £1,288 15s. 11d., as compared with £3,325 8s. 3d. in the previous season.
Last season, however, only one team was run, and there were but 19 home league matches, and no cup-ties. The financial position of the club, having regard to the amount absorbed from the season’s receipts to reduction of overdraft, was stated to be better than for several seasons past.
Messrs. W.L. Hardcastle (chairman), Norman Robinson, and A. Roebuck were re-elected directors, and Mr. Arthur Fairclough will continue as secretary-manager.
