Kenny Campbell return in goal

Friday, October 27 – 1916
Campbell, who returns to the Liverpool goal, is in grand form, and we know his reliability. Therefore the grand defence set up by the Anfield trio will simply be a case of “carry on.” Bury have a useful side, and believe they can break down the Liverpool defence. I fear they will get a shock to-morrow for Liverpool’s forward line has so much improved in balance by the playing of Lewis on the left, and Goddard and Metcalf on the wing, that I think they will beat Bury.
Liverpool. – K. Campbell; Longworth, Lucas; Bradley, Wadsworth, MacKinlay; Goddard, Metcalf, Pagnam, Lewis, Cunliffe.
